Design

STARC has been involved in various cabling design projects, most recently for Crossrail. We offer packages from low level designs through to CAD supported designs and redline drawings. We have been fundamental in the delivery of cable lift and shift works from the beginning of Crossrail, securing STARC as a preferred contractor for future works.

Survey

STARC’s has multiple survey solutions which are tailor made for a rail environment. With experience in surveying all railway assets, STARC can offer a broad programme to meet your survey needs and requirements.

Installation

Specialising in telecommunication and signalling, STARC’s experienced and knowledgeable engineers are able to deliver a wide range of supply and installation services. Principal Contractor for Network Rail, STARC’s professional engineers consistently deliver projects both safely and on time.

Members of the Institution of Railway Signal Engineers (IRSE) our installation team upgrades and integrates new cabling and associated equipment, drawing on their vast experience and expertise in the field.

Management & Consulting

STARC is able to offer specialist railway management and consultancy to a high level, with a proven track record on delivery. STARC has a wealth of experience in both the old and new era of the railway environment, proving that breadth of experience is essential.

Testing & Commissioning

STARC’s competent and experienced engineers, under TMT & FIP guidelines, have successfully tested, commissioned and brought back into service numerous Safety Critical telecommunications systems, using our state of the art EXFO multidisciplinary test equipment.
